Son of God

My son Corry and I went and saw this movie and here is our take:

Corry: I really enjoyed the movie because it was easy for to understand it as I watched it.  It was made in such a way that I was able to see Jesus's story come to live in a movie form.  I had fun because the whole time my mom and I played bible trivia as we watched it.  Even the part where He was put on cross did not scare me, it made me feel sad and appreciate what He did for us more.  I would tell any of my friends to go watch it, it is a must see.

My turn:  First and for most it is  a must see!! The movie is tastefully made, and easy to watch.  The time line in which the movie plays out is not your standard time line.  You see glimpse of the Old Testament to Christ birth and the story really takes place when Jesus is 30 years old.  They portray the disciples in such a way that you can relate to the questions they ask Jesus.  You see their fear, doubt disbelief, love and trust.  The miracles are shown in a way you feel the power behind them.  In the scene where He is carrying the cross He drops it and you can see His determination to pick it up and carry it.  It is pretty powerful because you can feel all the emotions behind the willingness He has in carrying His cross.  The love that our Father choses really hit home and made me understand on a deeper level the sacrifice  He made. I think I will stop here, I don't want to give to much away.  Here is a link to a song by the David Crowder band that says it all...
